FAQs

  • Taping is a therapeutic technique that uses specially designed elastic tape applied to the skin to support muscles, joints and ligaments without restricting movement. It helps reduce pain, improve circulation and enhance muscle function, aiding recovery and preventing injury.

Using taping as part of treatment can provide stability where needed, promote better posture and support the body during physical activity or rehabilitation. It’s a simple, effective tool to complement sports massage and therapy for faster, longer-lasting results.

  • I offer a range of Massages, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports. Each type addresses specific needs, from relaxation and muscle recovery to posture and muscle rebalancing.

  • Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your session. You’re welcome to undress to your level of comfort you’ll be properly covered with towels throughout the treatment. Undergarments should be kept on and you’re welcome to wear or bring sports shorts if that makes you feel more comfortable during the session.

    For Female Clients:
If your treatment focuses on the back of your body while lying face down, you're welcome to remove your bra for comfort and access but only if you feel comfortable doing so. If you're lying face up, bra removal is typically not necessary. If you're unsure, feel free to ask anytime before or during your session.

  • The ideal frequency of your massage sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Here’s a general guide:

    • For fast relief or acute issues: 2–3 sessions per week may be recommended at the start to address the problem effectively.

    • For stress relief and relaxation: Weekly or fortnightly sessions can help you stay balanced and reduce tension.

    • For maintenance and long-term wellness: A session once a month is a great way to keep your muscles in top condition and prevent future issues.

  • Consistent massage therapy does more than ease muscle tension it helps you move better, feel calmer and live more comfortably. It boosts flexibility, posture, circulation, recovery and even sleep quality — all while supporting your body’s long term wellbeing.

  • It’s normal to feel a bit sore or tired after your massage, especially if it’s been a while since your last session or if we’ve worked on multiple areas. Any discomfort is usually short-lived, typically fading within a day or two. As your body becomes more in tune with the work we’ve done, you may also notice increased sensitivity in areas that were previously less noticeable.
